Morocco
Morocco had been on my list for a long time. When I finally went, I travelled by road across the Atlas Mountains, into the desert, and down to the coast. It revealed itself slowly, through light, texture, and the geometry of its towns. It was not a place where the camera was always welcome, so I worked quietly and from a distance. I was drawn less to faces than to surfaces, structures, and small moments: mud and sand architecture, the markets, the stillness of a fishing port at the start of the day. These are observational images, recording a journey through a country that stayed with me visually.
